When we released our Orange Ginger Cranberry shrub the first year, this became our go-to cocktail. If there is one thing a shrub loves, it is gin and bubbles. For entertaining or those lovely holiday weekends, batch all of the ingredients except the prosecco and store in the fridge. Then just pour, top with prosecco and enjoy it with all of your favorite holiday feasts. Be sure to save the neck for us.
1.5 oz Gin
1.5 oz Orange Ginger Cranberry Shrub
Dash Grapefruit bitters
Add bitters, gin, and shrub to an old fashioned glass. Add ice and stir. Top with 50/50 prosecco and sparkling lemonade. Gently stir. Garnish with lemon twist.
