Mexican chocolate is known for its more complex, intense flavor because it’s often made with chiles, nuts and spices. In contemporary Mexican culture, hot chocolate is a frothy, sweet drink flavored with sugar, cinnamon, and sometimes vanilla. Our 7 Syrup brings the added flavor to this frozen variation to make the best chocolate milkshake you have ever had. If you want to turn it into a boozy version, substitute vanilla vodka for the milk.
Ingredients:
1 pt Chocolate or Mexican chocolate ice cream
.5 c Milk
.25 c 7 Syrup
Whipped cream and cinnamon sugar for dusting
Instructions:
Mix everything in a blender. Pour into cups and top with whipped cream and a dusting of cocoa and cinnamon.
