We are finishing off Dry January with our take on a classic from the 80’s. This mocktail has the sweet from the peach puree, the sour from the citrus and a little bit of tart from the shrub.
If you have any of your Orange Ginger Cranberry Shrub left from the holidays, this mocktail is a perfect way to help finish that off. Peach puree is readily available at grocery and specialty food stores. Pro tip- if you have trouble finding puree, check out the baby food section. Just be sure to buy a puree that is 100% peach.
Sex on the Peach
2 oz Peach nectar
2 oz Orange Juice
1 oz Orange Ginger Cranberry Shrub
¼ oz Lime Juice
Add all ingredients to a shaker full of ice and shake to combine. Strain into an old fashioned glass of ice and garnish with an orange flag, cherry, or ½ orange wheel.
