If there is one spirit that we love with Aperol, it is bourbon. This cocktail uses our Honey Lavender Elixir instead of the traditional plain honey syrup. We love what the herbal notes do to this cocktail.
This cocktail is what you want after an afternoon of shopping with your crew when you need a break and want to review your purchases. Pair it with a delicious charcuterie board and you will be set!
Our bourbon of choice for this cocktail is Widow Jane Bourbon. Master distiller Lisa Roper Wicker is making some amazing bourbon. We like the sweet start and the spicy finish that Widow Jane gives us in this cocktail.

2 oz Widow Jane Bourbon
1 oz Aperol aperitif
.5 oz fresh lemon juice
.5 oz Honey Lavender Elixir
Half-dropper of Bittermens Elemakule Tiki Bitters
Instructions
Add ingredients to the shaker with ice and shake to chill. Garnish with lemon peel.
